Membership

Members of the Cooperative Alliance include the registered National Cooperative Organizations (NACOs), Co-operative Unions and Primary Co-operative Societies.

 

Membership Requirements

Any registered Co-operative Society in Kenya is eligible to become of the Alliance. A society ceases being a member if its registration certificate is cancelled or it’s liquidated.

Duties & Roles of Members: Ethics

The CAK Ethical Policy includes the promotion of environmental conservation and treatment of all with dignity. CAK is an equal opportunity organization and does not condone discrimination or harassment.
The Alliance complies with all necessary laws, rules and regulations and promotes competition and fair dealing internally and amongst its stakeholders. The Ethical policy also addresses issues of conflict of interest.
